In 1983, with dreams of raising their young family on a farm, Tony and Herta Peju bought thirty acres of vines in the famed Rutherford district of Napa Valley. An industry trailblazer, Tony Peju redefined Napa Valley four decades ago with the family’s garage tasting room—the first of its kind—as he championed the right of grape growers to sell their wine directly to consumers. In founding PEJU Winery, the Peju family broke the mold and created the Wine Country experience that visitors know and love today. This fun, 45-minute, presentation style tasting, brings guests together in our unique stand-up counter experience – just like Tony & HB poured four decades ago. Classic Seated Tasting | $60 per person — Enjoy warm hospitality, stunning grounds, and a tasting of five select PEJU wines. A knowledgeable PEJU wine educator will share stories about the history of the PEJU family and their vision for the winery, along with an insight into our winemaking style and vineyard estates. Reserve Tasting | $150 per person | $130 Club PEJU — Available Thursday – Monday at 12:00pm 2:30pm & 4:00pm.
