This remarkable milestone represents the combined years of service of 14 employees who were honored during a special ceremony for their dedication spanning 15 years or more. She’s still got the moves! Jeanette Dunstan, resident at The Glades at ChampionsGate, traveled over 1,100 miles to New York City to see the Radio City Rockettes’ world-renowned holiday show. The big surprise? When our 91-years-young, award-winning ballroom dancer dropped into a perfect split right in front of the Rockettes. After learning that Jeannette always dreamed of meeting a Rockette, Regional Director of Sales and Marketing Elizabeth Pitcher called in some favors with her former connections at Radio City Music Hall and arranged a backstage meet-and-greet with one of the legendary dancers. The community’s Executive Director Heather Corton traveled with Jeannette to New York, where they stayed at The Watermark at Brooklyn Heights, ate at Rockefeller Center, and made Jeannette’s lifelong dream come true. We are thrilled to announce that our 13th Annual Thrive Classic Golf Tournament was a resounding success, raising over $180,000 for Watermark for Kids! Our generous sponsors were invited to mix and mingle during an exclusive pre-tournament reception dinner at The Hacienda at the River. The following morning, more than 140 golfers teed up to make a difference while enjoying a day of camaraderie and friendly competition at Omni Tucson National Resort. After a beautiful day on the greens, participants attended the award luncheon to celebrate tournament champions, hole contest winners, and lucky raffle prize recipients.
